weeee! savana becomes evil! (wait, she already was) she becomes ravena pla! i found it amusing that the two big shots of the former ravena would look to their "adopted" daughter for help. (pictures, please?)

as much as i had already been long expecting the above, does this also mean that the tree's power of restoration only works at one specific time (when the sugos reached the tree?)? so transformations AFTER that event are possible (like savana's)?

at least alwina feels guilty na rin. her constant displays of confusion, anger and weakness during her visits to the tree did not help aguiluz at all. besides, she should know that although the shield did not allow her to actually see him, HE WAS STILL THERE (duh!). love isn't limited to actual physical sense (contact), it can also be expressed in forms of encouragement, support, strength. all of which she did not do, even to her own mother.

despite going back to the tree (kahit useless na kasi la na ang fruit), aguiluz is STILL concerned with telling alwina abt gabriel. what is WRONG with him? why can't he put it in his head that *its not his responsibility to protect her anymore!* and also, while we are at the topics of telling aguiluz on watching movies (star wars, etc), he should watch spiderman too. "with great power comes great responsibility".

yegads. still doesn't escape the fact that they're now in a deeper trouble. worse, they don't have a clue on WHO the real enemy is.

its like a reversal of fortunes. evil is now trying to win its way out, even though the good side has outnumbered it. but instead of outward manifestations (such as killing), its coming from INSIDE the protagonists, like pride, anger.

btw, the fruit is supposed to dictate when evil will be wiped out? (need further explanation on this) maybe its prescence is supposed to reflect the state of the guardian as well; the evil in his heart prompted the fruit's disappearance. like when aguiluz obviously harbored ill feelings against gabriel. or when he chose personal selfishness (alwina) over his duty.

other than that, it may also be that someone just really took the fruit. any guesses? m thinking florona as another possible suspect because she was the last person who talked to aguiluz and that she's also the representation of the earth element (or something like that). and lets not forget, she was the one who suggested he can break out of the shield by will.

um.. on gabriel. i think it was SR who recalled that his mother was ill during his early childhood. could that illness be any indication that something happened to her (which involves a ravena)?

I liked Rasmus and Ravenum better as Mulawin. Sheesh... the latter looks disgusting now. Rasmus was rather handsome as a MUlawin.

hmmm...

i am suspecting that sooner or later, gabriel won't be able to control the ravena in him. eventually, veronica would know about this and by her goodness, be able to help gabriel rid himself of the evil in his ravena blood.

what do you think? hehe! this would surely melt alwina's heart and this time, ask for forgiveness from her mother for thinking wrong of her.

tonight on mulawin (2005 jan 21):

terong approaches gabriel. gabriel assures terong that he won't hurt him.

dakila asks aguiluz why he is out. aguiluz goes back inside the shield. he asks for forgiveness.

lourdes calls out after veronica. bagwis runs after veronica.

rasmus and ravenum takes savana with them.

terong asks gabriel what has happened and why he has wings now. gabriel tells terong that he hates himself for being a ravena. he tells terong that he doesn't know anything. he adds that if only he could control himself if he is a bird-man. gabriel tells terong that dakila knows who he really is and now he understands why dakila hates him.

lourdes and rasmus loses veronica.

ravenum explains to savana why they want the fruit before they disappear forever.

bagwis catches veronica. he tells veronica that he won't be able to accept if she gets lost again. veronica tells bagwis that it is better for her to disappear because she distracts alwina. bagwis tells veronica that alwina should accept her because she is her real mother. lourdes looks on the two.

dakila tells aguiluz that the fruit is very important because it dictates when evil would be wiped out.

terong asks gabriel if alwina knows about everything already. gabriel tells his companion that he has thought of asking help from her. but this time, he is doubting if alwina would be able to accept him. he is not sure if alwina would be able to accept him because mulawin and ravena are mortal enemies. terong promises gabriel that he won't tell a soul about gabriel's identity.

ravenum sees what is left of halconia. rasmus says that there is nothing left except themselves. savana tells the two that they can count on her too.

dakila breaks the news that the fruit of the mulawin tree is missing. he asks everyone's help to look for the fruit. he tells everyone that unimaginable are to happen should the fruit get in the wrong hands. aguiluz stands far away listening to dakila.

savana suggests that she be made a ravena. she presents herself to ravenum. she says that now, she is ready unlike before. she tells the two that if she becomes a ravena, they would be sorry that they made vultra as their queen. ravenum agrees with savana.

lawiswis feels sorry for aguiluz. she tells pagaspas that she has already accepted veronica because veronica could not remember anything when she was a ravena. they see a flying kite and follow it.

aviona meets aramis once more. aramis offers his help in carrying the basket of fruit she has. she offers her a flower. aviona is no longer angry at him and accepts the flower. he peels one fruit. aviona smiles.

aling rosing asks if it really was aguiluz who lost the fruit. the musang tells aling rosing wonders what has happened to the fruit.

the bird-kids follow the kite. the meet the young boy who flies the kite.

aguiluz remembers what was said to him about the fruit and about gabriel. he wonders how he could convince alwina that gabriel has bad intentions towards her.

liwalum introduces himself. lawiswis and pagaspas introduce themselves.

ravenum calls on perena. rasmus asks ravenum to make him a ravena once more. this he does. ravenum asks savana if she is ready. she says she is.

aling rosing asks everyone not to hurt aguiluz. the musang tell aguiluz that he failed them. aling rosing tells aguiluz to run away.

alwina tells lourdes that she is not sure if she should be happy or not that she has seen aguiluz again. she feels guilty that aguiluz wanted to be with her rather than guard the fruit. lourdes tells alwina that they both know that gabriel only wants alwina's safety. veronica arrives and greets the two. alwina leaves, not finishing her food.

savana urges ravenum to start converting her. ravenum sucks out her soul and her metamorphosis starts. savana gains her feathers and wings. ravenum appoints savana as the ravena princess.#

add ko p rin pla, d b un episode dis friday, un scene ni Rasmus kausap nia si Aramis ata un, d b inuutusan nya tong panain or asintahin c Mulagat,... so tingin ko ito n un smooth transition ng mulawin sa encantadia, at ang laki rin pla ng role ng hiyas na walang kupas sa story at ito rin un parang nag re relate sa encantadia sa story.....If encantadia will be shown concurrently with mulawin, ok p rin as long maintain un good story, good ideas, wag lang maliligaw story...nweyz want to congratulate writers ng mulawin the best! ang galeng nila...

Oops, could I take back what I said? I think Stairway to Heaven will be shown to replace Forever in My Heart so Enkantadia will be after 10 weeks pa.

And if the third part of Mulawin will only be until mid-March, then Enkatadia will be shown after Mulawin, during the Philippine summer break.

I'm beginning to trust the creative team of Mulawin so I think it wouldn't be bad if Mulawin returns after Darna is shown. It has proven itself to be worthy of being part of Philippine new mythology.

actually, i was kinda off because i had to deal with my puter and my concentration sucked through the show. i can't remember the characters' names. LOL! i wanted to add more memory to the puter but it seems it won't accept more. :(

anyways, please allow me to say that you write well, too. i am glad that more pinoys out there has come out and started to write.

how juicy is this!?! wow, this is completely new! how exciting! i plead to the powers of the gma management to please come up with the dvd!

* savana! u just gotta hate her. weeds just don't die quickly (haha, my bad!) she's the character i'd luuuuuv to see uber-evil, a real kontrabida. btw, perhaps this is the stone gabriel dropped? (what color is it, btw?) or maybe a fragment of the hiyas from mulagat (which, i think hasn't been used)
* gabriel - needless to say this is the central character already, and like the other sugos before him, must now search his purpose (or it finds him first)
* rasmus - my my. the man had something hidden in his sleeve pla. he had a back-up all along. will this be (gasp!) aramis? haha, its all too early to tell!! :) (still, i am curious abt aramis' character)
* aguiluz - his new powers will come in handy as the guardian of the tree (100 years pla, kala ko 100 thousand years. whew!).
* the sea! - a new location! wow.. should we expect kaya mermaids (hmm. not sure on this one) or pirates? or m i again making this all up? (hihi)

if mulawin and encantadia are gonna be shown concurrently, it must be gma7's way of continuing the fantasy wagon without losing its fan base.

like the mulawins, the encantados have distanced themselves from other species. i have not yet heard them interact with humans nga e (ata). also, much of the time until now, they have more or less stepped back from the war itself (except for mulagat and his gang). now the fight will come to these ethereal beings. will we also see the return of perena?

bagwis tells alwina to make haste because veronica is is ailing fast.

the stones start to move. alwina moves her hand towards the rubble and a stone would move. she has powers to move objects.

southrock, ye it was me. i was just hoping that rasmus would change, counting on his love to at least spark the good side in him again (of course, we all know that his love isn't exactly the best example). now that love has turned to hate. maybe instead of gabriel, HE would give up his body to his dad (indicating he has lost all hope and adopting the attitude, "i'll bring them with me to hell" or something). with him borrowing powers from daddy-o, we'll get to see a stronger rasmus for once. but, i'll leave it up to the writers to surprise me with something better, hehe.

if the humans who changed back to ravena had no memory of their deeds as feathered creatures, then yes, there was no change at all. baka eventually (but not to be taken up in this series), with the existence of mulawins out on the open, the humans will be jealous, or, expose them to the outside (city), which might lead to mulawins again distancing themselves from the humans. sad sad cycle. btw, my guess on your question abt lourdes? savana :)

it was the clan of mulawins who suffered throughout this ordeal, and they are the ones who will come out stronger and perhaps wiser in the end. i only hope that dakila will straighten matters out and reveal to everyone how the real war began between ravena/mulawin (therefore, also highlighting the humans' fault in it). after all, the truth will set everyone free.
