tonight on mulawin (2005 jan 11)

pt 1:
alwina offers herself instead. but aguiluz disagrees.
the war continues.
habagat frees the prisoners in avila.
aguiluz reminds alwina of his role as her protector. he asks the assurance of the guardian that alwina would be able to reach the tree and that all their efforts would not be put to waste.
mulagat is back with an army.
tuka runs away to save her son. maningning saves her along the way.
habagat and mulagat meet once more. they smile after acknowledging each other and then proceed to fight the enemy.
alwina tells the guardian of the mulawin tree that if aguiluz is to die, then she would prefer to die with him.
habagat accounces that the war is over. the people rejoice.
dakila sees that someone is coming. he sees lino flying in the sky.
---
pt 2:
aling rosing sees her grandson from afar, though she hasn't recongized him yet.
lino picks up those who fight him and just throw them away.
the ravena soldiers continue to fight the rebels.
dakila, habagat, and bagwis continue to fight the enemies.
mulagat fights.
one by one, cats, birds, and humans die.
the guardian tells aguiluz and alwina that once they have given up their lives, they won't be able to go back. the two indicate that they won't change their decision and that they are ready.

pt 3:
lino gets hit by arrows but he just pulls them off his chest.
aguiluz and alwina face the executioner.
aguiluz and alwina swear their love to each other. they bow their heads. the executioner raises his ax.
tuka helps lourdes, aling rosing, pagaspas, and lawiswis escape.
the executioner becomes a pillar of smoke and then disappears.
the guardian greets aguiluz and alwina for having passed the test. she tells them that they may now go to the tree.
aguiluz and alwina go through the gates and reach the mulawin tree.
---
pt 4:
the guard tells the two to witness the mulawin tree's power. a rainbow appears and starts to reach for the sky.
aguiluz is told that he is now a full pledged sugo, and alwina, a full pledged mulawin.
alwina's scarf and aguiluz's flute appear in their owners' hands.
alwina transforms into a bird-woman with feathers on her head.
lawiswis sees the rainbow first. lawiswis becomes a girl again. tuka is now a mulawin. pagaspas is now back to human form.
dakila witnesses habagat transform into a mulawin.
dakila acknowledges that the two sugo has indeed reached the mulawin tree.

pt 5:
lino falls down and starts to return to his human form.
the ravena soldiers change to who they were before they became ravena.
the guardian introduces herself. she is aguiluz's mother.
aguiluz realizes this and she tells him that she is proud of him.#
