more on SR's thread of thought:
true, it was a lame way for the writers to answer our 'points of consideration'. though i am kinda amused by the notion they do might be reading our blogs.
let us add one more 'point'. the characters are MULAWINS. they are a different species created (by Bathala, in their world) to serve a higher purpose - that of being selfless stewards of the earth, and of being paragons for nobility, kindness, and respect (not only to others, but especially to their fellow bird-men). their existence meant for the better good of all, and not for oneself.
THAT should have been instilled in their very core and being, even ABOVE their love for life on earth. THAT even sets them apart from humans. so aguiluz, in writing his letter, showed a poor portrayal for a mulawin. 'sugo' pa sya!
*it may seem only aviona meets the qualifications mentioned. (granted, she was possessed, but that was only because the ravena brainwashed her).
on aramis, there seems to be a loophole (or maybe i'm just too impatient). if aramis did grow in encantadia, how did that explain his attitude towards mulagat? surely he should have felt some respect or gratitude was due to an engkantado. or was his memory erased by rasmus (another brainwashing?!?), kaya akala ni aramis he owes rasmus? eyng. naguguluhan na ako. i seriously hope they do not use the brainwashing concept again, sheesh, that's TOO much already.
again, is there no one looking at the mirror right now? (or was it part of linang's sole responsibility). yikes, now engkantadia is being indifferent? what gives? at least they can still watch, right?
finally, so i won't end this post on such a bad note, gabriel is in another interesting cliffhanger moment for his role (if only not for that pesky brainwashing..). veronica also giving good work on her part, finally showing some strength that we all missed in her as vultra.
