what has mulawin been like?
mulawin was a long-awaited show that would deroute pinoys from sinking into heartwrenching grips of drama and predictability of teleseryes. smart and engaging (with graphics and costumes to boot), it allows its viewers to actually think, anticipate, and cheer.
for me, in the end, the show mulawin may be about two things -- one, who THE mulawin really is (will the real sugo please stand up?) and what his/her true purpose is. two, finding that mulawin may stand for something else. heroism, loyalty and courage. values and going back to roots. standing for what's right. rising above the pain and overwhelming odds. love and good conquering all (and with that, maybe you even don't have to be a feathered character to be a mulawin).
i'm confident the mulawin series will end well, kung feb nga (despite my heartache, huhu). happy or sad finale, (i wouldn't say good or bad), the writers are sure to come up with something satisfying. at any rate, i think mulawin deserves to have its own dvd epy collection (esp for people like me who have to watch the series). wonder what the bonuses would be like?
