i'm beginning to think that nothing will happen when alwina reaches the mulawin tree.
what will probably happen is for her to realize who she really is -- that her mother is vultra and that her father is bagwis. mother and father will have a confrontation only to realize later that they have to compromise on something and not fight at all for alwina's sake.
on the other hand, gabriel will realize too that he has been fooled by ravenum. only, also, to realize that he is related, even is the son of ravenum. and to further it a bit, gabriel will forgive his father for what he has done but opt not to be a ravena.
gabriel will then ask for aguiluz's forgiveness, and dakila, after realizing that gabriel was in full support of alwina, will learn to forgive gabriel.
so in the end, they are all able to forgive one another and peace will be in their world.
...or...
aguiluz, alwina, and gabriel will all die and everyone will weep and blame themselves for the death of the three. so in effect, it will be a tragedy, a la romeo and juliet, where the death of the main characters will bind them all in peace.
