Dakila has always been narrow-minded... he hasn't shown much wisdom since then. This was already established... it's his fault why aguiluz was thrown out of avila.. it's his fault that avila was conquered by ravenas in the first place. Because he doesn't know how to listen to both sides. He even threw aviona out, forcing bagwis to leave as well. Paloma even chose to be disowned rather than obey the rules imposed by his father.
He is a conservative ruler who has failed a couple of times.. and realizes his mistakes in the end, swallowing his pride (remember, he apologized to aguiluz).
