linang hopes that aguiluz and alwina will be successful.
mulagat asks his mother to allow him back. linang tells mulagat that he could bring along those who can help in the struggle against evil.
the guardian tells the two that aguiluz and alwina can be with each other if they want, but there will be no resolution to the conflict that's going on.
aguiluz offers himself to die. he tells the guardian to let alwina reach the mulawin tree.#
